Hutan Ration once again partnered up with Team Malatra for the FGV Tekam Forest Trail 2018.

After the success of the Sungai Menyala Trail Run 2018 by Team Malatra, Hutan Ration once again became the official Energy Bar provider for the latest Train Run event for the year 2018.

FGV Tekam Forest Trail 2018 will offer the latest trail running experiences in Jerantut, Pahang. The race will start in the heart of Pusat Penyelidikan Pertanian Tun Razak (PPPTR) at Felda Residence Tekam. It will take runners along palm oil plantation and the historical Taman Warisan Gua Kota Gelanggi Caves, which includes Tongkat Caves (Gua Tongkat), Balai Caves (Gua Balai) and Penyu Caves (Gua Penyu) inside the Taman Warisan Gua Kota Gelanggi.

There are three categories; 50km, 25km and 10km. ‘100km category will be introduced next year’ said Rayzeef, the co-founder of Team Malatra.

The race venue in Felda Residence Tekam is about 2 1/2 hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur and easily accessible by road. For the runners that prefer not to drive, we offer shuttle bus service from Kuala Lumpur to the Felda Residence Tekam. Hotel rooms, chalets and camping site are the types of accommodation available.

FGV Tekam Forest Trail offers a unique challenge for avid and fast runners as it will be a mixed of 70% trail and 30% road covering areas including palm oil plantations, replanting areas, a golf course and caves around Kota Gelanggi. The start and finish point of the race will be at Dataran KMK at Felda Residence Tekam. The cut-off time for each category (COT) is three hours, six hours, 10 hours for 10KM, 25KM, and 50KM, respectively.

Hutan Ration is offering two free slots for the 25km and 50km event for the lucky winners via their official instagram account. Contest ends 9th July 2018.
